# Riji Terms of Service **Effective date**: October 12, 2026 **Version**: 1.1.0 Please read these terms before using Riji. By registering, signing in, or using the service, you agree to all terms below. ## 1. Service Description Riji is a mood journal and AI companion app that provides: - One mood journal entry per day - Warm AI replies with classic quotes - Multi-turn chat under a journal entry - Persona and personalized tone - Paid membership (Pro / Max) and related features We may adjust features as needed and will announce material changes in the app. ## 2. Account Registration & Use 1. Sign in with your own Apple ID and keep your session (cookie) secure. 2. You are responsible for all activity under your account; do not transfer, lend, or use it for illegal purposes. 3. We use Sign in with Apple (iOS first). Sessions last 90 days and renew while you stay active. ## 3. User Content & Conduct 1. You are legally responsible for journals and messages you post. 2. Do not post illegal, pornographic, violent, or rights-infringing content. 3. We may moderate content; rejected content is not saved, and you will be asked to edit and retry. 4. One journal per user per day; interaction counts follow membership quotas. ## 4. AI-Generated Content 1. AI replies are generated by large language models for emotional companionship only and **are not medical, psychological, legal, or investment advice**. 2. If you are in serious distress, seek professional help. 3. We improve quality and safety over time but do not guarantee accuracy for every situation. ## 5. Membership & Payment 1. Free includes 3 AI conversations per day, Pro includes 20, and Max has no daily conversation limit. Pro and Max are monthly auto-renewable iOS subscriptions purchased through Apple In-App Purchase at the price shown by the App Store. 2. Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Change or cancel via Manage Subscription in the app or Apple settings. Apple's confirmation screen determines charges and when changes take effect. Canceling renewal does not remove benefits for the paid period. 3. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its rules and applicable law. Refunded or revoked subscriptions may lose their corresponding benefits. 4. Purchases are linked to the current Riji account. Restore with the original Riji and Apple accounts. Deleting a Riji account does not cancel the Apple subscription; manage it first. ## 6. Intellectual Property 1. Riji’s UI, marks, and code belong to the developer. 2. You keep ownership of your journal content and grant us the license needed to store, process, and display it to provide the service. ## 7. Privacy Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy. Using the service means you have read and agree to that policy. ## 8. Account Deletion You may delete your account anytime in the app. We will delete your account, journals, chats, persona, and related personal data. Deletion is **irreversible**. Minimal transaction identifiers, pseudonymous account bindings and subscription status are retained for reconciliation and to prevent duplicate claims, not full receipts or payment card details. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. ## 9. Disclaimers 1. For force majeure, network failures, or third-party outages, we will try to restore service but are not liable for indirect losses. 2. To the extent allowed by law, we do not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated content. ## 10. Changes & Termination We may revise these terms; published revisions take effect when posted. If you disagree, stop using the service and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate service for serious violations. ## 11. Governing Law & Disputes These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Parties should negotiate first; if unresolved, submit to a court with jurisdiction where the developer is located. ## 12.
